For situations in which listening is not possible Netflix allows you to add subtitles, which can also be viewed in a different language.
Adjusting the settings is easy – it’s finding them that isn’t always obvious. Note that the process outlined below may vary slightly depending on which device you are using for streaming.
- Launch Netflix and choose the movie or TV show you want to play
- Select the Audio & Subtitles icon below the time bar
- Select your preferred language or subtitle options
- Press OK to return to the options panel
If you need a more specific and detailed set of instructions then head to Netflix and choose your device, whether it’s Android, Apple TV, PS4, Roku or something else.
