The Moto G7 launched 7 February at Motorola’s event in Brazil – the G7 is the latest Android phone from the company and includes four variants: the Moto G7 itself, the G7 Plus, the G7 Power and the G7 Play.
Here’s where you can pick one up in the UK.
The primary Moto G7 features a 6.2in Full-HD+ screen, optical image stabilization and a 1.8GHz octa-core processors with 4GB RAM.
The phone will be available in both black and white while the G7 Plus version will be available in red and blue. Here’s everything we know about the Moto G7, including details cost, specs and design across all the models.
As with any new phone, you’ll want to keep it safe. Though the Moto G7 has just launched, you can already find protective cases.
We haven’t tried these out yet, but have seen a couple of these styles for other phones. Stay tuned as we will be updating this article as more cases become available and as we try them out.
1. Olixar ArmourDillo Moto G7 Case
The Olixar ArmourDillo is a rugged case that we’ve seen for a number of other phone models and often makes it into our round ups. While it’s not the sleekest looking, it does promise excellent protection.
It’s made of a TPU (or silicone) material on the inside and a hard polycarbonate on the outside, for two layers of protection. The external texture should also provide additional grip – plus a handy flip out stand allows horizontal viewing.
2. Olixar FlexiShield for Moto G7
The Olixar Flexishield is another case we’ve seen often across other phone models. It’s a simple, lightweight and flexible case that should keep your Moto G7 safe from the daily dangers of scuffs, scratches and skids.
A raised bezel also protects the screen from damage. You get a 2-year manufacturer warranty too.
3. Case Collection Moto G7 Leather Folio
This leather case from Case Collection UK will keep your Moto G7 safe from day to day wear. It’s made of faux leather with a TPU interior and has cutouts for easy access to all ports, speakers, and buttons.
You can stow away up to two cards and cash too in the slots provided in the front cover. The case also folds into a horizontal viewing stand. A great option under £10.
This case is currently unavailable in the US.
4. Sleo Moto G7 Luxury Retro Leather Case
The Sleo Luxury Retro folio case is another leather wallet option – except this case is handcrafted of real premium leather. It fits both the Moto G7 and the G7 Plus and is available in black, brown and dark brown.
The case features three card slots instead of two and also has a space for photo ID. Like the Case Collection UK option, this folio case also folds into a horizontal stand.
5. Ueokeird Moto G7 Clear Floral Case
Here’s a simple, flexible case for your Moto G7. It’s clear, so it will let the original colour of the phone shine through, while ornamenting it with a gorgeous floral pattern.
While we don’t expect rugged protection from the material, it should keep the Moto G7 safe from day-to-day scratches and bumps.
The raised lip also keeps your screen and camera free from scuffs.
This case is currently unavailable in the US.
6. Sleo Moto G7 Power Vintage Textured
Here’s another stylish option from Sleo for the Moto G7 Power, featuring a faux leather finish. It’s a shell case, so your screen won’t be covered, but it should keep your Moto safe from bumps and drops.
It’s available in black, brown and blue (pictured).
7. SCL Crystal Clear Moto G7 Case
The SCL Crystal Clear is a simple bumper case that offers protection from collisions and scratches, with additional reinforcements around the corners. It works with the Moto G7/G7 Plus as well as the G7 Play and G7 Power.
It’s not available directly from Amazon UK, but UK customers can order it from Amazon US and pay a small import fee of US$4.22 (roughly £3.25).
The SCL case comes with a 6-month warranty.
