The Moto G6 and G6 Plus joined Motorola’s roster of budget smartphones in 2018 ( see our full review here). While the Moto G6 may be easy on the wallet, it won’t be easy on the eye if it’s scuffed, scratched and cracked.

Made from high quality Nubuck leather, this case offers great protection without compromising on functionality. All ports are still accessible, while the built-in kickstand makes it the perfect companion for media consumption.
There’s even the option to personalise with lettering of your choice.
It’s available in the traditional brown, as well as striking shades of Navy Blue and Plum.

Weier’s offering is textured for slip protection and accommodates a card on the inside. It folds into a stand too.
It’s not a rugged case, but you can expect protection from everyday knocks and drops. Weier offers the case in a broad range of colours on Amazon, where it’s just £9.99.
Currently unavailable in the US.

The ArmourDillo from Olixar is a staple in many of our phone cases roundups. It’s rugged, reliable and now, available for the Moto G6.
It’s made of two interlocking layers: an outer polycarbonate exoskeleton and an inner TPU frame. The ArmourDillo keeps your Moto G6 safe from the usual bumps and scrapes and offers extra grip with its textured design.

MoKo offers sleek, robust and stylish cases for several phones and models, and now the Moto G6 as well. It looks a lot like the Spigen case, but is a few pounds cheaper (we’re not complaining).
This case promises lightweight protection from drops and bumps. The interior patterning also helps reduce overheating, though we haven’t tried this out. The case is also resistant to moisture, scratches and pesky fingerprints.
You can buy it now for a bargain £2.99, but it’s not available in the US.

This Frosted case from KuGi packs protection from scratches, dust and fingerprints in a sleek and elegant case that’s available in black,gold, red (pictured), and white.
The matte textured exterior improves grip and is also easy to clean. The case also has beveled edges to protect your screen from scuffs. KuGi also offers a lifetime warranty
You can buy it now for £6.95. but it’s currently not available in the US.

Here’s another rugged case, this time from Belk. With this case, you can expect shock absorption from a gel cushion that evenly distributes impact.
Like the KuGi case, the Slim Fit case from Belk also has a matte finish that improves grip. It has raised edges, as well, around sensitive areas – such as the screen and camera – to prevent scratches caused by laying the phone down on a surface.
Available in black, blue, grey and red.

If you’re after something that’s timeless and elegant, and offers functional value, this faux-leather case from Olixar may be just what you need for your Moto G6.
For £10/$11.99, you get a case that offers lightweight protection from small-scale risks like scratches and scuffs. It’s not a rugged case, so don’t try and toss your Moto G6 across the room to test this case’s protective prowess, but it does keep both the front and back of your phone covered.
Apart from slots to hold your cards (which is a given), you can also fold the front cover into a stand, to prop your phone up in landscape view.
