We loved the look of the Nokia 6 (2018) in
our hands-on review. Though it is similar to its predecessor in most ways, it is smaller. And, it’s not waterproof (if you want the full technical lowdown
The Nokia 6 (2018) does however feature a Gorilla Glass display and an aluminum body, which makes it fairly durable, but this doesn’t completely vanquish the risk of damage from drops and fumbles.
With this in mind, we’ve rounded up some of the best cases out there right now. We will be updating this article as more cases become available.
Olixar’s Flexishield is a favourite of ours and has been featured in many of our other phone case roundups. This is why we’re glad to see that it’s also available for the Nokia 6 (2016).
It’s a gel case (feels like silicone) with a non-slip coating. The bezel edges around the screen, camera, and fingerprint sensor keep scratches and scuffs at bay when laying the phone down on a surface.
It’s a bulk-free and well-priced solution if you want to keep your new Nokia 6 looking like new without much hassle. It’s also available in black from
Mobile Fun for £5.99, or
$7.49 if you’re buying from the US.
If you’re looking for a case that maximizes functionality, you can’t go wrong with a wallet case that also converts to a stand. The Book Flip Leather Wallet case has all the trimmings of your standard wallet case: card slots, magnetic closure, and cut-outs for easy access to camera, buttons and ports.
It’s also available in a number of playful colours like purple, pink, rose gold, and blue, amongst other. US shoppers can also find other options in light blue, brown and red.
The Carbon Fiber case is a great choice for those seeking slick and elegant protection for their Nokia 6 (2018).
It absorbs shock and prevents slips with its rubber texture edges. Plus, it offers fingerprint and scratch protection in a minimal, 20 gram form. The raised lip also keeps the camera and screen safe when the phone is placed flat on a surface.
This KuGi wallet case is one we’ve also recommended for the
Sony Xperia XZ2. Similar to the Book Flip Leather Wallet case, KuGi’s version has card slots, a magnetic closure, and precision cut-outs for ports and buttons. It also converts to a stand.
But unlike the Book Flip, KuGi offers a 6-month manufacturer’s warranty should you need it.
The Riffue Retro Folio case just looks classy. And it’s water resistant.
The front flap of this folio case is reinforced with manganese steel, offering additional protection. Thought it’s not a wallet case, the front flap does accommodate one card, which is handy if you often need to take your card out for contactless payment.
The phone itself fits into a silicone bumper that has cut-outs for easy access to the camera, buttons, and ports. The case is also lined with fleece to ensure the screen does not get scratched. For less than £10 on Amazon, it’s practically a steal.
Last but not least is the Super Frosted Shield from Nillkin, which also comes with a screen protector (and a cleaning cloth!).
The case itself is textured for extra grip and fingerprint resistance, while the screen protector keeps scuff, dirt, and debris at bay. Like some of the other cases mentioned on this list, the Frosted Shield also has a raised lip to prevent damage when laying the phone down.
Available in black, gold, red and white (pictured).
