Olixar has been super quick at preparing cases to be ready for sale with the launch of the HTC 10. This one here is for those after some extra tough protection. The two part ArmourDillo takes its design from everyone’s favourite part-shelled creature, and the design is in two parts.

The inner section is a shock proof wrapper for the 10, while the back section grips it in place, with the advantage of two pieces to disperse shocks and drops to best effect. The back also has a handy stand for watching video in landscape.

HTC’s own cover is available from 1 May according to Amazon, and will set you back a cool £39.99. It’s designed to allow you to access basic functions of the phone without lifting the cover or unlocking the main screen. 

You can access the camera, read texts and adjust volume of music amongst other things. It also has support for third party notifications from the likes of Instagram and Google+ – and hopefully many more besides, though we haven’t got our hands on one to try it out.
