The cult sitcom Arrested Development was due to leave Netflix this March, meaning that viewers would have had to go elsewhere to catch up on the messy adventures of the Bluth family.
However, the date it was due to leave has now rolled around, and the series is still on Netflix at the time of writing. Here is everything we know.

Is Arrested Development still available on Netflix?
We can confirm that all five seasons of Arrested Development are still on Netflix and will not be leaving anytime soon.
Netflix confirmed the announcement on Twitter, following a few weeks of uncertainty:
Originally, Netflix claimed that the series would be leaving on 15 March. This was because the licensing agreement was up, which has allowed the show to be streamed on the platform for over a decade.
When that date passed, the show was still on the platform, and Netflix did not clarify when it would be leaving. This was likely due to licencing agreements being worked on behind the scenes.
Even though the show is still on Netflix, there are other alternatives for US and UK viewers.
Where is Arrested Development available to stream in the US?
Besides Netflix, the first three seasons of Arrested Development are also available to stream on Hulu in the US. This is because the show was originally a Fox series, which is now owned by Disney (which also owns Hulu).
If you’re not yet signed up, Hulu costs $7.99 per month for ad-supported streaming and $14.99 per month for an ad-free account. There are also bundles and annual options available, should you prefer.
You can sign up for Hulu here.
Where is Arrested Development available to stream in the UK?
As well as Netflix, you can also stream the first three seasons of Arrested Development on Disney+ – the show is a new addition to the streaming platform, and was meant to be the new UK home.
Disney+ costs £7.99 per month and £79.99 per year, and you can sign up on the Disney+ website.
What about season 4 and season 5 of Arrested Development?
Season 4 and 5 are still available to stream on Netflix, but not on Hulu and Disney+. This is because they are Netflix Originals.
