With many retailers hopeful that you might want to gift a drone this holiday season, Cyber Monday is usually one of the best times of the year to buy a drone. But keep in mind these are expensive purchases, and so you should not just blindly accept any old deal.
Some of the best-known drones hail from manufacturer DJI, but of course, DJI is not the only drone maker out there.
It’s difficult to choose a drone without knowing what to look for, so we’d recommend also checking out our drone buyer’s guide before you part with any cash. You should also be aware of drone laws within your country – due to potential danger and also privacy issues surrounding the onboard cameras, there are strict rules governing where and how you fly a drone.
Size and weight plays a part, too, with sub-250g drones generally offering the biggest freedom in where you can fly, and not requiring expensive pilot training courses. In the UK you still need to register even these lightweight drones, for example.

Cyber Monday is on 27 November in 2023, but deals usually begin mid-way through November, and may run after Cyber Monday. However, it may not pay to hang around if you see a deal you like because they tend to sell out fast.
