The iPhone 14 range is official, and it ushers in big improvements for Apple’s smartphone collection.
As well as swapping the 5.4in Mini model for a 6.7in Plus model, offering the big-screen iPhone experience at a more affordable price point, there’s a big jump in camera tech across the range. The iPhone 14 and 14 Plus offer improved low-light photography while the 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max boast the first ever 48Mp sensor on an iPhone, with cool camera tech that majorly improves overall performance.
There’s also improved battery life across the range, and although the standard iPhone 14 sticks with last year’s A15 Bionic processor, the Pro models get the state-of-the-art A16 Bionic.
However, there’s one feature that remains unchanged. The iPhone 14 range boasts Apple’s top-of-the-line Ceramic Shield on the display to protect from scratches and cracks, but the same can’t be said of the glass rear. The question is, how can you fully protect your iPhone while still appreciating Apple’s keen eye to detail?
That’s where case maker Spigen comes in. The company is a prominent player in the world of smartphone fortification, protecting popular smartphones since its inception back in 2008, with a commitment to making high-quality premium cases – and that includes Apple’s iPhone 14 range.
In fact, Spigen has been hard at work to improve its popular Clear Case Collection for the release of the iPhone 14. The new Spigen Clear Case Collection will not only protect your iPhone from scratches and scuffs, but its transparent nature means you get to fully appreciate Apple’s design and the vibrant colour options on offer from this year’s range.
Transparent cases traditionally have a reputation for yellowing over time, particularly if left in the sun, but that’s not a problem for Spigen. The transparent case range sports Spigen’s all-new TPU Dura Clear technology that’ll keep your iPhone and case looking brand new for much longer than cheap clear alternatives.
Spigen Ultra Hybrid on iPhone 14
The new collection starts with the Spigen Ultra Hybrid. The clear polycarbonate & TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethanes) material keeps the industrial look of the iPhone 14 front-and-centre, ideal if you want to showcase the colourful finish of this year’s range. The upgraded Dura Clear technology ensures it’ll stay perfectly clear for a premium clean finish that won’t face over time, retaining its high-end look.

The Spigen Ultra Hybrid Frost offers the same level of protection as the standard Ultra Hybrid, but with a semi-transparent frosted material that gives your iPhone a premium, understated look. The accompanying matte finish not only reduces the appearance of fingerprints, but it also makes the phone much easier to grip in one hand.
For those that like a bit of bling, Spigen’s Liquid Crystal Glitter case is the one to go for. The sparkly glitter finish helps your iPhone stand out from the crowd with a dazzling look that perfectly complements the vibrant colours of this year’s iPhone range. It’s not just about looks though; it’s just as durable as the rest of Spigen’s Clear Case Collection, and utilises the same TPU Dura Clear tech to keep it looking fresh.
If you’d like full front-and-rear protection, Spigen offers the Crystal Pack. The bundle combines a Liquid Crystal case with TPU Dura Clear material with one of Spigen’s premium GLAS.tR screen protectors. The high-quality screen protector can defend against scuffs while retaining the original quality of Apple’s Super Retina XDR displays, and there’s even nano-hydrophobic tech on offer to provide an additional layer of protection.
