NBC’s streaming service Peacock currently has a mega deal for users in the US. You can currently lock in the Premium tier for 12 months at a price of $1.99 per month, or $19.99 per year, which is – for the mathematically challenged – an even better deal.
Although it’s called Premium, this is Peacock’s ad-supported tier, which usually costs $4.99 per month / $49.99 per year. That means that you can make a total saving of $36 across the year by signing up for the monthly plan, and $30 by locking in for the annual tier. Don’t forget, though, it’s cheaper overall to opt for the annual plan, even if the saving is smaller.
All you need to do is head to Peacock’s website and use the promo code ‘SEPTEMBER’ at checkout if signing up for the monthly subscription, or ‘ONEYEAR’ if you opt for the annual plan. The deal expires on 30 September 2022.
Sadly, the Premium Plus tier, which doesn’t make you watch adverts, is still at the full price of $9.99 per month.
Note that there is no free trial available for the $1.99 deal. However, if you’re unsure if Peacock is the right streaming service for you, you can sign up for the monthly plan and cancel whenever you like – after just one month if you don’t like it.
Also, this deal is available for new subscribers only.
This is exclusive to Peacock in the US. However, users from outside this country can still take advantage of this offer with the help of a VPN. All you’ll need is your name, email-address and any US Zip code (you can get hold of one online) – see more in our guide for how to watch Peacock in the UK.
Peacock includes several NBC classics like The Office and Parks and Recreation, as well as some of this year’s blockbusters such as Jurassic World Dominion. You can see how it compares to rivals in our list of the best TV streaming services.
You can also get one month of Disney+ for $1.99 right now, a deal that’s available until 20 September 2022.
